HIGHWAYS & ROADS

TAX PAYERS WASTE OF MONEY

I always thought that signs are posted on the side of roads for to remind drivers of the rules of the road.
One of the biggest road signs here says, travel in the right hand lane and to use the left lane to pass slower vehicles.
Seems to me it is the one that no one sees.
I was coming home the one night travelling at the posted speed limit in the right hand lane and I see a cab up ahead of me.
The cab is in the left hand lane travelling under the posted limit.
As I started gaining on the cab to the point that I was going to pass the it, again I am travelling at the posted limit.
I started to pass the cab as the driver hit his horn like I had no right to pass the cab.
3 nights later I passed a driver on the same highway just to have that driver start making motions for me to slow down as if I was speeding.
This driver speed up to get along side me to and continues to motion me to slow down.
Which after the driver started to speed down the highway in front of me and off they went.
Now in both cases what justification did these people have to distract a driver for no reason when both of them were in the wrong.
I ask, how many people out there just do not understand that they are not the police and should not act like one. You people are the ones that cause most of the frustrations while on the roads.
Another big issue I see is a lot are drivers that do not know the difference between a merge lane and a yield sign. 9 out of 10 times when entering onto a highway you are going to merge into traffic. Nothing beats entering into a merge lane to find a driver stopped in a blind corner.
The sign said merge not wait for just the right time to go.

If you do not know the rules of the road stay off them completely.
